WELCOME to our CYBER MANOR

Hatley Park ManorOur Cyber Manor is named Hatley Park 'Castle' which is actually located in Victoria, British Columbia. The castle overlooks the Olympic Mountains in the State of Washington and the Juan de Fuca Strait where the whales cruise out by Race Rocks, with a good pair of binoculars you would be able to see them from the tower.

The castle was built at the turn of the last century for the James Dunsmuir family. It has many rooms and is built out of stone. The Dunsmuir family where the coal barons of Vancouver Island. They built the E&N Railway from Esquimalt to Nanaimo. There is still a day liner that travels the route every day. The castle is now a University.

James' father Robert built his own castle called 'Craigdarroch Castle'. Built in 1890 as lavish residence for Robert Dunsmuir and wife Joan. Craigdarroch features magnificent views, exquisite woodwork, stained glass and period furniture. Now a museum, the castle is open daily for viewing.

Some of our other places we visited were:

Manor1This country estate, is Nunsmere Hall Country House Hotel, Oakmere, Cheshire (And I thought it was in upper New York State - where the 19th century money barons built the homes). The island is nice, but the house has a few too many rooms. There are many other beautiful mansions in Cheshire, England.

[Manor2]This little place comes from Warrington, Cheshire, England. What a beautiful gate this place has. The house is obscured by the gate. The house is now the City Hall of Warrington.
